AquaPucks Wastewater

 Physical Description

Pucks come in two sizes:
 3.00” diameter , 150 gram pucks
&
2.00” diameter, 50 gram pucks

Solid and dense, white with dark specks.
Pucks effervesce when submerged.

 

    Designed for the treatment of wastewater, these pucks can be used as a pre-treatment or as an aid during treatment within a wastewater system.  AquaPucks Wastewater contains strains of bacteria that break down Fats, Oils and Greases enabling them to remove even the hardest grease caps and rafts.  The wastewater pucks contain ADS ReDOX to purge the water of any noxious odors and gases and prevent them from reforming.

This product is bio-degradable, environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Areas of potential use include: 

  • Wastewater lift stations, wet wells, distribution and junction boxes, holding or equalization tanks or basins.
  • Use to reduce wastewater odors due to anaerobic conditions (e.g. sulfur compounds, volatile fatty acids, nitrogen compounds)
  • Use to pre-treat wastewater transported distances before entering standard treatment processes.
  • Use to augment in-plant secondary aeration and clarification processes.
  • Use to prevent acid creation and infrastructure damage to concrete and steel forcemains and pipes and fittings.
